I finished this last week and almost forgot to post it on here! I’ve used this tote every day since I finished it. It is the perfect size for me (especially the straps). I absolutely love this bag and the awesome texture that was created with the quilting. My husband says “it’s colorful!”, and he’s right. I guess that also means it’s safe from being used by the fellas in the house
Doesn’t it look so cute and cheerful sitting in my sewing chair in front of my pretty threads?!
The pattern was great and easy to follow, but I felt like it needed a bit more instruction on the finishing of the bag (securing the straps, how far down to put the lining and stitch etc. I figured it out pretty well by the photos, but I’m afraid a new sewer wouldn’t be so lucky.
Here it is once I had the two panels pieced together and laying on top of the lining fabric. Isn’t is just perfect with this collection of solids?
Overall it was a fun, quick finish and just what I needed.
