WIP Wednesday: I SWOON for Jellybean and Pezz!
I have done quite a bit of sewing this week and was able to piece the Jellybean quilt top together (minus the borders and thankfully that fabric just arrived in the mail today!).
I also started cutting fabric for a new quilt using Pezzy Prints by Moda. I can't wait to see how this one comes together.
I just love all of the colors!
This last photo shows a total of 120 Pezzy Print strips and 240 gray triangles...I've literally got my work cut out for me now ;-)
But before I can finish the Pezzy Prints quilt, I will need to finish this SWOON block. My son has decided that he would like to give his Kindergarten teacher a present at the end of school (which is next week!), so I picked some solid fat quarters from my stash and put this guy together last night. Hopefully I will time to get it quilted during this long weekend, but with the Indy 500 Festivities and other Memorial Day happenings, not sure when I will get any sewing in. Oh well, who needs sleep anyway, right?!
For those of you who are new followers of my blog (thanks to Sew, Mama, Sew's Giveaway Post!), I thought I would let you know that in My Shop you can use the coupon code "MEMORIAL" to receive 15% off your purchases through May 28th. After reading all of the comments, I think I have a number of pre-cuts in several of the favorite fabric lines mentioned (Vintage Modern, Lucy's Crab Shack, Quilt Blocks, Verona, Salt Air, California Girl, a nice selection of batiks and of course Daisy Cottage!).
Don't forget to stop by Freshly Pieced to see the other WIPs!
Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back on here Saturday morning to announce the winner of the SMS Giveaway Day.
