I’m passionate about helping to educate and empower others to explore and grow in their quilting journey.
I am a quilter, designer and lover of fabric. After starting my blog in 2012, my passion for quilting continued to grow into a pattern business that was started in 2015. In addition to running Material Girl Quilts, I am also a fabric designer for Riley Blake Designs. My style is inspired by traditional quilts with a modern flair. Fresh patterns and colors are what makes my heart sing. I enjoy sharing handmade items and ideas with others and hope to never stop finding new things to create.
I live in Indiana and spend my free time hanging out with my husband and son. The real ruler of the house is our sassy (but adorable) boxer named Polly. She's convinced every quilt is made for her :-)
