W.I.P. Wednesday {7.11.12}
Well, I'm chugging along on some of my WIPs...finally! I sewed the binding onto the front of my 30's Sampler Quilt, but have not yet finished hand sewing it to the back. I made more progress in the "quilting" arena this week. First I completed the quilting on the batik hourglass table runner (sorry no photos...computer issues!!).
Next I completed the quilting on my strip quilt.
I chose to do some echo quilting on every other strip, in the ditch of the inside border and then straight lines every inch on the outside border.
The backing fabric was just a bit shy in width, so I had to piece it with a "stripe" down the middle. I love the way it turned out. I also can't wait to get the binding on and wash it...I have a feeling that this one will crinkle up perfectly. If it weren't so hot around here it would probably already be done so I could snuggle under it while watching TV.
I also started a new project (I know...distracted yet again!!). I will show you more on this one later.
At least I moved a couple into a new category ;-). Here are my lists now...
