W.I.P. Wednesday {8.1.12}

I can't believe that school starts today for Sam!  This summer was way too short (for me anyway!)  It's been a couple of weeks since I posted about my progress on WIP's, so I thought I better check in.  If for nothing other than to hold myself accountable for the lack of serious progress around here! I did have a completion since my last post.  The 30's Sampler Quilt is done and hanging in my sewing room as I type :)  This makes me very happy.

I completed my local block of the month blocks for July.  I'm loving the variety of batiks that are in this BOM.

I also love the colors in the Women of Courage BOM.  There are SO MANY pieces in these blocks...and cutting at 1 5/8" is about to kill most of us ;-)  So far we have completed 2 of the same block each month.  It's been a lot of work, but I know it will be worth it in the end.

I also made a few more Great Granny blocks.

I have decided to stop with four blocks and make a table topper.  I need to turn my attention back to my other projects!

I did complete another quilt top, but I will have to share that one at a later point...SO LAME, I KNOW!

Here are my lists now...
