W.I.P. Wednesday {3.13.13}
Hi there, I"m back! I know it's been a couple of weeks since my last post, but now that I'm finally recovering from a 3 week sickness, I have some things to share. Between now and this summer I have five baby quilts to make and by September I also have two wedding quilts to do! Those don't include the other WIP projects that have been on my list for awhile, so I certainly have a lot of sewing in my immediate future.
This weekend I pieced baby quilt number 1 of 5. Below is a photo tease. I'm hoping to select a backing fabric soon and get this one quilted up quickly. More to come at that point.
I also finished the March Lucky Stars BOM. This one is called the Ninja Star and my 7 year old thinks it's pretty cool ;-)
Last night I decided it was time for me to make a new nametag for my quilt guild. I pieced together this tiny little 4" block and plan to embroider my name across the yellow patch in the middle. Hopefully it turns out as well as I'm hoping.
Now, time to get myself organized and start cranking out the quilts!
Linking up with Lee at Freshly Pieced.
Thanks for stopping by,
