Triangle Parade {a finished quilt and cover spot in LPQ!!}
So, today has been the best.mail.day.EVER!! I received my copy of Love Patchwork & Quilting's Issue 28 and check out what's on the cover...my quilt!!
I cannot explain to you how excited I was to learn that my quilt would be on the cover. This is a serious dream come true for me :) And I am so happy it was with this quilt. I just love the rich colors of One Canoe Two's Tucker Prairie line. And mixing it with Zen Chic's Modern Background prints turned out to be perfection.
The best thing about this quilt is that it uses layer cakes (10" precut squares), so you get the variety of an entire fabric line in your quilt...knowing it will all coordinate. For those who complain they have trouble putting fabrics together, this type of quilt is perfect for you!
Also included in this issue are a couple of matching cushion covers. These are made with charm packs (5" precut squares). And now that they are back home, I can't wait to stuff them and put them on our sofa!
As always, the folks at LPQ take such beautiful photos that showcase the projects in their magazine. I think this is one of the main reasons LPQ is my favorite quilting read.
Thanks so much for stopping by and for all your support in the past couple of years. Without it this dream would not have been a reality!
