Patriotic - Red, White and Blue - Flag Pillow {a FREE pattern!}

When my advanced yardage of Picadilly fabric arrived, I knew that I wanted to make a throw pillow for my chair in the living room. This flag is the perfect size since it is not too large and would make a great travel pillow.

It’s a wonderful project for using up those red, white and blue scraps (or your new bundle of Picadilly fabric of course!!) ;-)

The pillow cover itself finishes at 12 1/4” x 18 1/2” and I used a 14” x 20” pillow insert to make it nice and full (I hate flat pillows!!).

If you don’t want to turn your flag into a pillow, you could always make it a mini quilt (or placemats!!) or even make lots of them to piece together with sashing into a quilt.
