Willowmere Quilt Tutorial

When I first saw this beautiful Ambleside fabric, I fell in love! It’s not necessarily my “normal” style for fabric choice, but it was too gorgeous for me to pass up. I’ve had a fat quarter bundle for months, just trying to figure out what to make with it. Willowmere is the result and I could not love it more!

These vintage style prints are so pretty. And of course I love all the shades of blues, greens and teals!

I also really love the block design in this quilt. The stars made with the background fabric within the blocks really stand out.

And since it is officially fall here in Indiana, our trees are providing the perfect backdrop for this beauty. I love how the red leaves coordinate so well with the deep red prints in this collection.

Here’s a closer look at the beautiful prints and scrumptious texture 🤩

Willowmere is a fat quarter friendly pattern and is a great quilt to use up some of those FQ bundles you have sitting around waiting to be sewn into something you can snuggle with.

For my version of this quilt, I opted to miter the corners of my outside border given the fun design in the fabric. If you’d like to learn how to do this, check out Mary’s video tutorial for some easy to follow instructions.

GIVEAWAY ALERT!!

I have some scraps left over from making this quilt and I’d love to pass them on to one of you!
