Batik Hourglass Tablerunner

I finally finished the binding on the batik hourglass tablerunner!  We took a little road trip down to Louisville to celebrate family birthdays and I brought it with me to work on in the truck.  As you can see, I had a little helper ;-)

I just love that there are so many colors in this one.  It's really LONG, so it is very hard to get a good photo of the entire thing.  Here it is on my sewing table.  I can't wait to see it in its new home though.  That table is being hand-made by my amazing aunt as I type this.  Hopefully I will have some photos of it from her house soon.

The backing fabric is one of my favorite batiks from my stash.  It's been used in a few of my projects now :)

This is my favorite way to "gift" a quilt.
