Tumble and Cruise {a finished quilt!}
As I have mentioned recently, I have a lot of baby and wedding quilts to do by the end of summer. I've recently received more news about another new blessing, so that takes the total up to 6 baby quilts and 2 wedding quilts! Thankfully I have the first one marked off the list.
I made this simple and fun quilt using some charm squares from Riley Blake's Cruiser Blvd. line. I decided to make a tumbler quilt to keep it simple, but still add a bit of character.
I absolutely love the hexi print that was used in the border, back and binding. I think this one can go with so many different fabric lines, and who doesn't love hexagons?!
I machine quilted it on the longarm in a meandering loop design. I'm really starting to like this quilting design. It is pretty simple and crinkles up nicely when washed.
Now I have to get back to work on all of the other quilts that need to be designed and done.
Linking up with Amanda Jean at Crazy Mom Quilts and Lynne for TGIFF this week.
