It's Friday already (not sure how that happened), so that means it's time for two more blocks in the Layer Cake Sampler QAL :)  Once again I have loved watching all of your progress on Flickr and Instagram! Here are today's blocks (and if you need to review the block piecing instructions, just click here.)

Block 7:

Block 7

Block 7 is a classic and would be another great quilt using only this block in any of the three layout options below.

Block 8:

Block 8 is one of the happiest blocks of all time...pinwheels!  It's almost impossible not to smile at this one  :)  I would love to see the secondary pattern that would be created if you used only the second layout option below in a quilt.
