Layer Cake Sampler QAL Week 6 {Blocks 11 & 12 and giveaway!!}
We're halfway there!! If you've been able to catch up, you should now have 10 of the 20 blocks completed. And if you are like me, you're probably also thinking your design wall isn't big enough! It's clear that when we are done we will all have some nice BIG quilts for our beds :) Here are today’s blocks (and if you need to review the block piecing instructions, just click here.)
Block 11:
Block 11 is a fun zig-zag and this time around I used a different layout than my original quilt. I'm loving the fun stripes in this April Showers line and how they play in the blocks. Below are a few other options.
Block 12:
Block 12 is such a classic looking block. After I pieced mine and then played around a bit more with the layouts, I really fell in love the middle option below. Guess I should have played around with the options before I put my block together!
