Scout {a finished quilt}

Here is Scout...all bound, washed, dried and crinkly :)

I showed you the completed top a couple of weeks ago and I decided to use the same Moda Cross Weave fabric that is on the back for binding.

I think the jewel tones in this quilt are so pretty (and yes not at all neutral like I previously discussed) but I'm hopeful the young couple will love it.  And by the way, thanks again for all of your kind words to help put my mind at ease on this!

I just love the texture on the back of this quilt.  The photo below shows the quilting detail pretty well.  I used Aurifil 50 wt. #5007 (Grey Blue) which was the perfect match to the backing fabric and perfect blender with all of the prints and shades in the top.
