Greenery in Bloom {a finished quilt top!}

By now, you likely know that Pantone's color of the year for 2017 is Greenery.

My friends Sarah of No Hats in the House and Rebecca of Bryan House Quilts are hosting the 2017 Pantone Quilt Challenge.  You can find all of the details here.  I haven't participated in a Pantone Quilt Challenge yet, but had to jump in when I saw the color and the hosts :)

Here is my completed quilt top "Greenery in Bloom".  It finishes at 60" square.

I used all solids on this quilt including four shades of green.  Curves aren't easy for me, so that was another "challenge" on this project!  When I completed my sketch and showed my husband he said "how will you do that?"  Ha!  I'm glad it looked difficult, makes him think I've got skills :)

I finished this top today as the sun was out and it finally started to warm up and feel like spring.  Perfect timing if you ask me because this quilt practically screams SPRING!

I think my favorite part of this quilt are the circles...as close to perfect as I could get!  Now, how should I quilt it?

Are you participating in the Pantone quilt challenge?  If you haven't started yet, there is still time...and some pretty great prizes up for grabs!!
