Follow the Blue Bird {and celebrate a new low volume fabric collection!!}

You can follow Riley Blake Design’s famous blue bird as we celebrate the launch of Hush Hush, RB’s very first low-volume designer fabric collection.

From now and throughout the month, some of the designers behind these beautiful low volume prints will be sharing a project featuring one of three piecing techniques (traditional patchwork, foundation paper piecing and applique).

I chose to make a paper pieced blue bird using some blues from my Winterland collection and paired with the Criss Cross print from Hush Hush that was designed by Simple Simon & Co. I then turned this cute little block into a mug rug!

Hush Hush is such a great collection of low volume prints and I can’t wait to mix them all together into a larger project!

The print I designed for this low volume collection is featured on the back of my mug rug and called Shape Up :)
