Ava Kate Daydreams Quilt {plus a tutorial and free pattern!}

Ever since I made my original mini-sized Daydreams quilt last year, I have been wanting to make the throw size version. And when I saw the florals in this Ava Kate collection by Carina Gardner, I thought it would be a great match for this pattern.

I’m not usually a fan of pink, but paired with these reds, teals and blacks, it works so well!

I chose the black/gray stripe for the binding and love how it finishes off the quilt.

Straight line quilting is always a favorite of mine and I think it looks great on this quilt. It provides just enough snuggly texture.

You can check out my video tutorial below and also find a free printable pattern for the Daydreams quilt here.
