Charming Baby Sew Along {Week 1}

It’s the first week of the Charming Baby Sew Along with Fat Quarter Shop for Melissa Corry’s new book. For this sew along, I decided to use Dream Weaver 5” stackers combined with Blossom in bleached denim for the background. It’s such a pale blue, but is a nice change from solid white :)

This week we are making blocks from two different quilts in the book. First is A Star is Born, the gorgeous quilt featured on the front of the book cover. For the sew along, our block is the center block from the quilt. I love the scrappiness of this block!

The second quilt we made blocks from is Color in the Lines. This quilt is shown in the top row of the book cover on the right. You will need a total of 4 Color the Lines blocks.
