Blogger's Quilt Festival Fall 2013
Hey strangers! I can't believe it's been over a month since I last wrote a blog post. Life has been a bit hectic around here, but thankfully we were also able to enjoy a nice relaxing vacation as well.
I'm back today to share my entry in the Blogger's Quilt Festival. Amy from Amy's Creative Side has put together a wonderful online quilt show and I was able to get my act together enough to participate this time. You owe it to yourself to check out her blog and all of the quilts entered in the multiple categories. The amazing talent of these other bloggers blows my mind and the inspiration abounds!
I have decided to enter Bermuda Triangle in the favorite throw quilt category. This one is by far my favorite recent quilt finish.
I actually took this with us on our vacation to the beach and intended to get a photo (or 30) of it by the beach, but somehow that just didn't happen.
Today was a gorgeous fall day here in central Indiana, so we took it to the park and were able to get some decent shots there.
If you recall in my other post about this quilt, it took me a very long time to decide how to do the quilting. I'm so pleased with the organic wavy lines in the multiple colors of thread. It really gives the quilt movement.
Now, head on over to the Blogger's Quilt Festival and admire all of the other beautiful works of art that have been entered.
Thanks for stopping by,
