What a fun week this has been seeing the excitement build around the Layer Cake Sampler QAL.  I have LOVED seeing everyone's blocks on Instagram and Flickr.  If you haven't checked them out yet, you should!  You will find lots of beautiful inspiration. Today I am sharing the layouts for blocks 3 and 4.  Remember that you can find the basic block piecing instructions here if you need a refresher.

I really love the extended pinwheel created with this layout.  My two prints are not very contrasting so the pinwheel doesn't stand out as much as I'd like, but it's still one of my favorite blocks.

This block uses your HSTs to create flying geese and I love the simplicity of it.  Aren't those red and white polka dots super cute?!
