Star Spangled quilt {and a closer look at Picadilly fabric!!}
I can’t believe Picadilly fabric will be hitting shops within the next month!! I’m really excited about this collection and can’t wait to see all of the fun projects that are created with it.
I am a sucker for red, white and blue quilts and think these prints will be great for your summer sewing projects, including picnic quilts, table toppers, throw pillows, etc.
My new favorite quilt that is being released with this collection is called Star Spangled. The photo above shows one block from the quilt (finishing at 15” square), and below is a shot of the Queen size option finishing at 90” square.
The pattern for this quilt includes two size options (queen and twin) as well as SEVEN different layout options for the blocks! If you don’t want to make that large of a quilt, no worries. I also include what is necessary for each block so that you can easily customize this pattern to the size you’d like to make.
The fabric I chose for the background on this quilt is Blossom by Christopher Thompson in the Uncle Sam color way. It’s the absolute best background fabric to coordinate with Picadilly.
As a bonus for my followers, the Star Spangled pattern is on sale through April 3, 2022. You can purchase the paper copy or PDF version in my shop.
