Jelly Filled {another FREE jelly roll quilt pattern!!}
I’m back with another jelly roll quilt pattern! This quilt is super easy to piece and comes together in a flash! It’s perfect for beginning quilters or any quilter who needs a quick finish.
The two main reasons I like to sew with pre-cut fabrics are (1) you are able to get pieces from an entire fabric collection at a more affordable price and (2) less cutting!!
This quilt is made using the strip piecing method and then you cut down your blocks from there - so fast, so easy!
The fabric I chose for this quilt is by Tilda and the collection is called Cotton Beach. For the sashing/borders I chose one of their chambray fabrics and the color is Petrol.
~ Material Requirements ~
1 jelly roll (or 40 - 2 ½” x WOF strips)
2 ½ yards sashing/border fabric
4 yards backing fabric
½ yard binding fabric
Sewing machine - I use the Elna eXcellence 780+
I sent this one off to the longarm quilter and LOVE the pattern we chose for the quilting!
The finished quilt measures 62” x 74” which is a generous throw size and will be a perfect beach blanket :)
These fabrics are so pretty together and I really like how the blue sashing calms down the busyness of the prints in the blocks.
The coral reef print I chose for the back might be my favorite print from the collection! I just love the colors.
