Jolly Holiday Wreath Quilt Tutorial

Christmas is my absolute favorite and I love to decorate our home for the holidays. Last month I decided that I’d love to create a Christmas wreath quilt and this is the result. What do you think?

This project would be perfect for scraps! I have a ton of green and red scraps, but I also had a couple of charm packs that I thought would look pretty all mixed up together, so I cut down those squares to create my version of the Jolly Holiday Wreath quilt.

This quilt finishes at 28” square and is the perfect size to hang above the buffet in my dining room as shown above. I debated hanging it there or in the entry, but I love how it looks with some additional holiday decor set out in front of it, so I chose the buffet.

And since I pulled the greens from two different charm packs to cut the squares for the wreath, I decided to use the leftover charms to piece together a fun backing for the quilt. It was a great way to use up those leftovers so they don’t just end up in my scrap bins for years to come ;-)
