Haunted Halloween QAL
When I saw the fabric chosen for Fat Quarter Shop’s Haunted Halloween quilt along this year, I knew I had to join in the fun. The Owl-o-ween fabric was just too cute for me to pass up. Look at those tiny little pumpkins, spiders and halloween candies!
This was a mystery quilt along, so we didn’t know what the finished quilt would look like (so fun!) and I think it’s pretty adorable. I purchased the kit from Fat Quarter Shop, but the pattern itself is free and they also shared tutorials each week on their YouTube channel.
Have you ever participated in a mystery quilt along? You may be a bit hesitant not knowing the end result, but I had faith that whatever FQS put together it would be great.
I scaled down a spiderweb quilting digital pantograph for this mini quilt and I think it turned out great…very spooky! 😉. Now I will be ready to decorate for the season when October rolls around (how nice to be ahead of the game for once!!).
