Ombré Chevron Quilt

While on vacation last summer with my family, I stopped into a local quilt shop and picked up some V & Co. ombré fabrics. I didn’t have a plan for them at the moment, but have wanted to purchase some for a few years now. I decided to buy 1 yard each of my favorite colors and they’ve been sitting in my office since then, just waiting for me to turn them into something fun.

After many ideas and sketches, I finally decided on this design. I love how striking these fabrics look in the wide chevron stripe pattern.

The variations of color within each fabric creates such a wonderful depth to the quilt design and those gold metallic dots are like the icing on the cake!!

Now I need to take this beauty with me to my local quilt shop to see what funky fabric I can find to use for the backing. If you have any suggestions of a fun fabric that would coordinate with these colors, please let me know!!

Seriously…aren’t these colors just gorgeous?!?! They are absolutely my favorite colors and I’m so glad I grabbed these last year, but even more happy to finally have them sewn into this fun quilt.
