Stars & Stripes Table Runner Tutorial

I have always been a fan of red, white and blue quilts. But if I can make something small enough to display all summer, even better! This Stars & Stripes table runner fits that bill perfectly. It’s a fun design and will be a great addition to my 4th of July holiday decor.

I had fun digging into my scrap bins for this project. I just love how it turned out using all different reds, whites and blues. I did keep the white of the stars consistent throughout the quilt top, but other than that, they are all a scrappy mix of some of my favorite fabrics.

It’s a little difficult to see, but the quilting pantograph has wavy stripes with stars mixed in between every three rows. I thought it was the perfect design to go along with this patriotic beauty. I used one of the orange peel prints from my Picadilly collection and love the pops of color it creates along the edge.
